Counterfeit Relics from around the world

Saint Ivo of Kermartin, this was also proven to be a counterfeit piece. after DNA testing the skull was proven to be of a African American descent.

Finger of Saint John the Baptist this was also proven to be a counterfeit piece, originally from France, this item had non matching bones to make the complete finger.

Padre Pio's glove that came out of Bulgaria and proven to be counterfeit. Bulgaria and the Nederland have the most counterfeit relics in the world. notice how the seals are the wrong size and the wrong wax is used also the string is over lapped and not tucked in or cut by the seals and after testing the fabric on the glove it has synthetic and other fibers not available when Padre Pio was alive.  The document is also badly forged.

The crown of thorns of Jesus, this came out of Vietnam back in the 80's the thorns are made out of a wood that was dated Circa 1960's to 1980's and the wood was not the type that was found in the area when Jesus was crucified.
